Neil Lennon is hoping to complete the signing of Jonjoe Kenny ahead of the transfer window closing at midnight tonight.
The Celtic boss is usually reluctant to discuss transfer business until it has been completed but admitted that the Everton defender is in talks about a loan move until the end of the season.
Kenny was given a 15 minute run out in Everton’s FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday on January 24, prior to that he has started one EPL match this season and made three substitute appearances.

The sale of Jeremie Frimpong to Bayer Leverkusen and mystery over Hatem Abd Elhamed has made signing a right-back a priority in this transfer window.
Kris Ajer has played at right-back in Celtic’s last two matches but the arrival of Kenny would allow the Norwegian to move back into central defence where Celtic are short on options with Chris Jullien out long term and Nir Bitton injured in the defeat from St Mirren.
