Neil Lennon has confirmed that Celtic are in talks with Marseille over a loan to buy deal for Olivier Ntcham.
The midfielder has dropped out of contention this season, making just two substitute appearances since the start of December.
With just under 18 months left on his contract it would appear to suit player and club for a move to be made but there are very few permanent deals going through during the current transfer window.
Neil Lennon says he wouldn’t be surprised to see Olivier Ntcham leave Celtic today.
The club are currently negotiating with Marseille over a deal for the player.

Getting a loan deal through that requires Marseilles to make the deal permanent should certain criteria be met looks like an option to satisfy both clubs and the player.
Over the last two months Ismaila Soro and David Turnbull have become regulars in the Celtic midfield with players such as Ryan Christie, Scott Brown and Tom Rogic also struggling for game time.
Ntcham has started seven SPFL matches this season and made the same number of substitute appearances.
