Neil Lennon has confirmed that Celtic will appeal the two match suspension offered yesterday by the SFA to Albian Ajeti.
The Celtic striker is accused of simulation in the incident that led to the second goal of the game scored by Odsonne Edouard from the penalty spot.
Kris Boyd led some media criticism of the decision, while the award was apparently ‘soft’ social media clips and stills have shown that there was contact from Kilmarnock keeper Colin Doyle.

Ajeti went on to score Celtic’s fourth goal with Lennon keen to continue his partnership with Odsonne Edouard after the former West Ham man ended a four month goal drought.
An appeal against the charge will be held next week allowing Ajeti to face Motherwell tomorrow, on Wednesday Celtic are away to St Mirren.
The process to bring the charge of simulation is unclear, at the match it seemed that Kevin Clancy took note of the view of the assistant referee who had an uninterrupted view of the incident.
