Neil Lennon has wielded the axe with FIVE changes to the Celtic side that lost 2-1 at home to St Mirren on Saturday.
Nir Bitton is missing through injury but Leigh Griffiths, Shane Duffy, Ismaila Soro and Moi Elyounoussi are on the bench with Jonjoe Kenny, Stephen Welsh, Scott Brown, Ryan Christie and Albian Ajeti brought into the starting XI.
It certainly wasn’t a line up that anyone was predicting! After fielding the same team against St Mirren that had beaten Hamilton Accies Lennon opted to slaughter the players after the match, claiming that they had let him down.
Despite so many set-backs and last season’s Champions League KO from Cluj Lennon described the St Mirren reverse as the lowest point of his time as Celtic manager.
Tonight’s match is Celtic’s second trip to Rugby Park, in August the two teams shared the points in a 1-1 draw, in December Celtic enjoyed a 2-0 home win.
