Neil Lennon has named the same Celtic side that started against Motherwell on Saturday for tonight’s clash with St Mirren.
Despite voicing concerns about Scott Brown’s declining influence the 35-year-old starts his third game in eight days with Ismaila Soro again on the bench. Ryan Christie has recovered from injury and replaces Ewan Henderson as a substitute.
It is less than a fortnight since the two clubs met with St Mirren enjoying their first win in 31 years at Celtic Park.
Neil Lennon responded to that set-back by making six changes for the match at Kilmarnock which Celtic won 4-0 followed by Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Motherwell. Since their win over Celtic, St Mirren have lost at home to Hibs then bounced back with a 2-0 win over Kilmarnock on Saturday.
The two clubs met earlier this season in Paisley with Celtic winning 2-1 thanks to goals from Shane Duffy and James Forrest.
