Neil Lennon has made two changes to the Celtic side that beat St Mirren on Wednesday for today’s clash with St Johnstone.

Stephen Welsh drops out completely as Albian Ajeti drops to the bench with Shane Duffy back in defence with Ryan Christie drafted into what looks like a 4-2-3-1 formation led by Odsonne Edouard.

Celtic go into the match on the back of three successive wins but their hosts are also on form after reaching the League Cup Final and winning away to finalists Livingston last week.

Back in November Callum Davidson’s side looked on course for a win at Celtic Park but a late equaliser from Moi Elyounoussi earned the home side a draw but crowds gathered outside to voice their anger.

On Wednesday Celtic are at home to Aberdeen in a fixture postponed since August followed by next Sunday’s trip to Ross County.

CELTIC: Bain; Kenny, Duffy, Ajer, Taylor; Brown, McGregor, Christie, Turnbull, Rogic; Edouard

SUBS: Barkas, Griffiths, Ajeti, Klimala, Soro, Johnston, Elyounoussi, Ralston, Laxalt
