Steven Gerrard has paid tribute to the referees that have helped take him to within touching distance of his first ever league title.
With an 18 point lead and 10 matches left to play the Ibrox club have had an astonishing season backed up by incredible statistics.
In 28 SPFL matches they have yet to suffer a single red card during a game or have a penalty awarded against them.
?? SG: The referees do a terrific job considering they are part-time but if we can give them more support financially to become full-time and introduce goal-line technology it will help improve the game for everyone in Scotland.

The part time referees pick up £900 for a match fee plus generous expenses and mileage. Steven McLean will referee the St Johnstone v Celtic game on Sunday, two days later he will pocket another £900 at the St Mirren v Hamilton match on top of his real job.
Tomorrow at home to Kilmarnock Gerrard will be without Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe after the SFA applied retrospective suspensions for red card offences missed by match referees.
When Morelos stamped on a grounded Ryan Porteous, Kevin Clancy told Jack Ross that it was a coming together of legs. A week later David Munro decided that Roofe stamping on Murray Davidson was only worth a yellow card. After avoiding being reduced to 10 men the Ibrox club went on to win both matches 1-0.
Back in December Morelos avoided a red card when Steven McLean went for yellow for a forearm smash on Dundee United’s Mark Connolly.
Don Robertson will referee tomorrow’s match against Kilmarnock.
?? Steven Gerrard has arrived to speak to the media. Live updates to follow.
?? SG: There are far worse situations and challenges that don’t even get looked upon. That’s not right and we need to have a level of consistency.
