Even amid the worst season in a generation Celtic fans are still able to find some dark humour.
There hasn’t been much to laugh about recently but over the last 24 hours the Olivier Ntcham and Marseille story has shown that other clubs have their problems as well.
At the weekend their home match against Rennes was postponed by the French League after fans had attacked their own club’s training ground.
Someone within Celtic thought that sending Ntcham into that environment made good sense.
Across Social Media Celtic fans are demanding that their club change manager, unbeknown to them the hoops have such power that they were able to bring down the Manager of Marseille!
Meanwhile Celtic fans patiently wait for the outcome of the managerial review which was due in the new year.
While Andre Villas Boas looks out for his next job it seems that Neil Lennon has the safest job in football management.
Back-to-back 4-1 defeats from Sparta Prague didn’t cause the Celtic board any alarm, when Celtic lost a 36 match domestic cup record it was Stuart Kettlewell rather than Lennon that soon found himself relieved of his job.
One victory in six matches this year makes it eight wins in 24 matches for Lennon as he prepares for the latest instalment as he takes Celtic to Kilmarnock tonight.
Here @CelticFC how come you managed to get rid of the Marseille manager but you can’t get rid of Lennon?
