Celtic found their form and scoring touch to demolish Kilmarnock 4-0 at Rugby Park tonight.
Neil Lennon made five changes to the side that lost at home to St Mirren on Saturday with new signing Jonjoe Kenny going straight into the team at right-back.
There was a recall for Scott Brown who showed awareness and determination to open the scoring in the 29th minute with a header from David Turnbull’s corner.
Celtic had dominated from the first whistle and put the match beyond their hosts early in the second half when Odsonne Edouard scored from the penalty spot then raced through on goal to slot a shot past the stationary Colin Doyle in the Killie goal.
Possibly the most significant goal came in the 86th minute when Albian Ajeti, completing his first 90 minutes as a Celtic player turned his defender just inside the box then moved in on goal to slot the ball low into the net.
It was mission accomplished for Neil Lennon as the players temporarily shifted the spotlight away from the long awaited managerial review that was promised two months ago.

Celtic double their lead but Doyle probably should have done better with Edouard’s penalty. A long way back now for the home side.

?? If we had VAR, Kilmarnock might be saved. Celtic make it look easy as they add a third – and it is, really, thanks to some poor Kilmarnock defending – but was Edouard onside?
