Scott Brown was put up by Celtic to face the broadcast media today as they fished for spaces to exploit from Neil Lennon’s resignation.
The skipper is an old hand at the media game as they warm up for the killer question, holding back their real thoughts as they wait for one word or phrase out of place.
Under Ronny Deila, Brown took on some coaching duties with Celtic’s Development squad but that came to a halt when Brendan Rodgers took over.
Brown has ambitions to go into coaching but the BBC Scotland reporter couldn’t quite ask the direct question with the Celtic captain seeing the it sign-posted as David Currie went round the houses before asking whether he wanted to take over from Neil Lennon.

With a playing contract up till his 36th birthday in June Brown is in the dark about his future, unsure whether a new CEO, Director of Football and Manager will see him as part of their plans for next season.
