Celtic’s match against St Mirren tomorrow night is in doubt after heavy snowfall over the central belt of Scotland hit Paisley full on.
From tea-time on Monday snow started to fall with images from Paisley shared on Social Media suggesting that a major effort will be needed for the match to go ahead as plannedcon Wednesday night.
The bad weather is expected to continue for most of the week with the SMiSA Stadium and surrounding area on the west side of Paisley badly exposed to the elements.
While there will be an undersoil training pitch available at Lennoxtown for Neil Lennon’s squad to use access to the training complex could be difficult.
After back-to-back wins for the first time this year Celtic will be anxious for tomorrow’s match to go ahead but will have to wait until later today to find out if Albian Ajeti is available after he appeals against a two match SFA suspension for simulation.
The St Mirren match is scheduled to be shown live by Sky Sports.
