Alan Nixon has described Eddie Howe as a serious candidate for the Celtic manager’s job.
The former Bournemouth boss has been out of management since August and was once tipped as a future manager of Arsenal or Spurs.
Nixon provides a regular run on transfer matters on Twitter and has twice linked Roy Keane with Celtic in The Sun this year.

Howe has also been linked with taking charge at Crystal Palace and Newcastle even though managers are currently in place at both clubs.
The 43-year-old spent almost a decade with Bournemouth broken only by a year and a half with Burnley that was ended for family reasons.
That decision seems to have been held against Howe but after leading Bournemouth to five seasons in the EPL his record stands up impressively against anyone else being linked with the Celtic job.
