Ewan Henderson is set to join Dunfermline Athletic on loan until the end of the season.
Video Celts understands that talks are at an advanced stage for the midfielder to go on loan to the Championship side.
Henderson has made just three first team appearances this season, all off the bench with little sign of a pathway towards the first team despite some impressive early displays under Brendan Rodgers.
Dunfermline already have Kerr McInroy on a season long loan from Celtic and are looking for Henderson to boost their promotion prospects.
Stevie Crawford’s side are currently in joint second place on 30 points alongside Raith Rovers and Dundee, three points clear of Inverness Caley Thistle and Queen of the South.
Over the next week Dunfermline face Dundee and Raith Rovers away from home before hosting Hearts.
Over the last 10 days Celtic have sent Luca Connell and Ryan Mullen on loan to Queens Park with Ewan Otoo joining League One Clyde.
Henderson turns 21 tomorrow.
