Two hours after allowing an illegal gathering at Ibrox to develop without taking any action Police Officers are now under attack from Ibrox supporters.
Despite widespread speculation across Social Media it seems that Police Scotland were caught by surprise as thousands of fans arrived outside Ibrox from 9am.
Pictures shared on Social Media attracted more fans to travel with the Police arriving and trying to keep the situation under control. Incredibly there was no statement or comment from the club pleading with fans to go home and obey the Laws of the Land.

It was inevitable that things would turn nasty after the Police opted to try and control a gathering of thousands, most of them wearing masks.
With two hours to go till kick-off the first images of Police Officers under attack have emerged which could put in doubt the match going ahead.
Steven Gerrard ignored footballing protocols by giving one of his coaches a lift to the stadium.
