Greg Taylor is back in the Celtic squad for the Glasgow Derby but Mikey Johnston will miss out.

John Kennedy has had a fortnight to prepare his squad for Sunday’s match with a friendly last Saturday against Kilmarnock to check on the fitness of some players.

Taylor was substituted 10 minutes into the defeat away to Ross County due to a muscle injury but after missing the matches against Aberdeen and Dundee United is back in contention.

James (Forrest) has been good, we had a training match last weekend and we managed to get more minutes in him as did Nir Bitton and other guys getting back into it. We got some training into Greg Taylor as well this week so the squad is good. The numbers are all pretty much back, we’re missing Mikey Johnston still but in the main the squad is strong.

Diego Laxalt has played at left-back in the last two games but the option of Taylor being available could tempt Kennedy in to starting with the former Kilmarnock defender. Following the January trip to Dunai Taylor was first choice at left-back until he missed out through injury.

Kennedy has gone with the same 10 players in his two matches in charge with Patryk Klimala starting against Aberdeen and Moi Elyounoussi in for the draw at Dundee United.
