New Ibrox money man Alan McLeish is involved in an eye-watering divorce settlement with a Kilmarnock director that could reach over £30m!

This morning The Sun announced that Alan has invested a whopping £1m into the disastrous Ibrox business as the current regime bring in another wealthy Billy Boy for a sup at the Loving Cup and selfie with Mr Gerrard.

In October Stuart Gibson invested £5m with the money already diluted with the McLeish million diluting Dave King’s stake which he is trying to shift on to Club 1872.

£1m will quickly disappear inside Ibrox with McLeish facing a few tasty bills as he settles up with Phyllis who is on the board at Rugby Park.

In January The Sun reported:

Court documents show she claims her marriage to the businessman broke down “irretrievably” two years ago due to his “behaviour”. Her claim is now being determined by a high court judge.

Phyllis previously received £15million when Alan sold his railways maintenance firm QTR for £80million in 2018. Her paperwork calls for “£16,500,000 payable at such date and by such method as the court thinks fit”.

She is also demanding half the value of their matrimonial home in Monkton, Ayrshire, bought for £872,000 in 2014. She wants a luxury apartment they jointly own in Benidorm, Spain, to be sold.

Unlike Celtic the Ibrox club haven’t published their interim accounts to 31 December 2020. Scottish football has no  Financial Fair Play regulations.
