Over the last five days a not-so-subtle PR exercise has been underway to downplay the events at Ibrox, Murray Park and George Square over the weekend of March 6 and 7.
Orchestrated by a Scottish Government afraid to reach out for the yellow card shown to Aberdeen and Celtic in August no effort has been spared to downplay the events where the Law of the Land was sidelined because of two football results.
Social bubbles were ignored, mass gatherings were escorted by Police officers with some happy to pose with law breakers while a global pandemic was given another chance to mix among the population. Across Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Ayrshire the test results have been up over the last week.
Incredibly no action has been taken against the club responsible for the law breaking. Twenty-eight arrests were made on the Sunday, none on the Saturday. No one trawled through Social Media to issue Fixed Penalties to the law-breakers.
Steven Gerrard told ITV from the bottom of his heart there was nothing more he could have done to prevent fans from gathering. Maybe he had forgotten about car sharing to get a video of his arrival at Ibrox or screaming out of the Dressing Room window to encourage fans.
James Tavernier and Scot Arfield have issued videos urging fans to obey the law on Sunday, Steven Gerrard has sent out a letter. In the early hours of Thursday some fans answered those messages in their own unique way.

Should Celtic cancel their travel deal with Park's of Hamilton
Yes, what on earth are we waiting on
No, Peter says we are bigger than that
With no action taken law-breakers were out letting off fireworks in the city centre. On Sunday everyone is expected to stay at home while the Ibrox Covidiots again go about their normal activities.
