Olivier Ntcham came in from the cold to start for Marseille away to Lille tonight but was replaced at half-time by Saif Khaoui.
Ntcham was left on the bench for Sunday’s 1-1 draw at home to Lyon with just 27 minutes of playing time in Lique One since his loan move from Celtic before tonight’s match.

That deadline day move created one of the most memorable media conferences of the season with Andre Villas-Boas going at length to distance himself from the transfer before stepping down as first team coach.
That episode just about summed up the season at Marseille, before Ntcham had arrived the home match against Rennes was postponed after Ultras attacked the Marseille Training Ground.
Tonight’s match ended in a 2-0 defeat for Marseilles courtesy of two stoppage time goals from Jonathan David. The defeat leaves Marseille in seventh place as they battle for a European place with Ntcham under contract with Celtic until June 2022.
