For the second time in 10 days David Webb has been interviewed by a Celtic fan website about the post of being a Director of Football.
With Peter Lawwell retiring at the end of June it looks like new CEO Dom McKay will be bringing in properly qualified heads of departments rather than rely on a veteran accountant.

The whole football side of the club is in need of restructuring from recruitment, training and fitness, player development, scouting and making the Academy a feeder into the professional end of the club.
Webb seems to have experience of all of those areas of the game, interestingly he has a long-standing relationship with Eddie Howe who has been linked with the vacant manager’s job.
It does seem strange that Webb appears to be pushing his case strongly, the usual style is to find a few media outlets to raise your profile without leaving a trail of finger-prints back to the person seeking the post.
Webb left Bournemouth for Spurs in 2015 but after two years in north London his career seems to have tapered off with his last two jobs being at Ostersunds of Sweden and Huddersfield Town.
