Celtic fans are pleading with their board to make contact with Jesse Marsch to discuss the vacant manager’s job.
Over the last few days there has been little enthusiasm from supporters after Roy Keane was linked with the job with fans remembering previous links and looking at a 10 year gap since the Irishman last managed a club.
Within that time period Marsch has graduated through the RB network with experience of managing in the Champions League in each of the last two seasons.
Liverpool, Napoli, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid all knew that they were up against well coached opponents when they faced RB Salzburg.
For some fans Marsch is the identikit of the type of manager/coach that Celtic are screaming out for. A student of the game with the ability to learn and put his knowledge into action at the sharp end of the game. Competing in the German and Austrian leagues as well as in the Champions League.
Whether there is another vacancy in the RB network isn’t known but after speaking out so strongly about Celtic the least that hoops fans are expecting is for the club to make contact with the 47-year-old American.
Interesting comments from RB Salzburg head coach Jesse Marsch on the BBC re being linked with Celtic.
That’s as much of a ‘come and get me’ plea as you’re going to get from a manager already in a good job.

It would be ludicrous if @CelticFC don’t interview this man …IMO His Ethos is a perfect fit as to how our model should be operating. Developing young talent and having a clear pathway from Academy to Senior ??? #CelticFC
