Steven Gerrard was shown a yellow then red card after confronting John Beaton at half time in his side’s match at Livingston tonight.
It seemed that the Liverpool legend was upset at the decision to book Alfredo Morelos for simulation shortly before the break.
When the whistle blew for half-time with the score at 0-0 Mister Gerrard marched onto the pitch shouting at the Bellshill based official. Beaton never engaged with the Ibrox boss, when the verbals continued from a distance the red card came out forcing Gerrard to watch the second half from the stand.
With the title within touching distance it seemed an incredible outburst from the Ibrox boss whose side haven’t conceded a penalty or had a player red carded during an SPFL match.
Covidiot Nathan Patterson started the match for the visitors with the SFA still to take any action NINETEEN days after the starlet and four team mates were given Fixed Penalties for an illegal gathering in Glasgow’s West End.
