From April Fools into Good Friday Celtic fans are feeling enthusiastic for about the first time this season.
Back in August Boli Bolingoli decided he needed some sunshine, by the end of the month dark clouds were gathering as Ferencvaros flew back to Budapest. It was been a season to forget for Celtic fans with a decade of misery squeezed into less than nine torturous months.
Between Wednesday night when news emerged that Eddie Howe was seriously interested through to a report that he had held face to face talks with the Celtic hierarchy the mood among supporters has been transformed.
If the interest in Howe is confirmed it is more than an appointment, it is a statement of intent.
Howe will bring in his own people to work with. Moves into the transfer market will be serious, the days of projects and hopeful punts that can be converted into Southampton targets will be over as proper team building begins.
Whether there is a Good Friday Agreement remains to be seen but yesterday’s news has given Celtic fans hope that a resurrection is underway.

Had say 90% a fans want Eddie Howe & the 10% who don’t, I don’t have any problem with that everyone is entitled to the own opinions & I respect that. Whoever the manager is we all won’t agree but if it’s Howe then I will be absolutely buzzing & I mean buzzing?? ? pic.twitter.com/0Q3wjZGG3z

Articulate, tactically astute, young, respected and well connected; a great fit for the job.
