Nir Bitton is back in full training and is available for tomorrow’s SPFL match at home to Livingston.

The 29-year-old was injured on international duty but has recovered from a groin tear that forced him out of Israel’s recent World Cup qualifier against Scotland.

Bitton hasn’t played for Celtic since injuring his ankle in the defeat from St Mirren on January 30 with Stephen Welsh stepping in to form a partnership with Kris Ajer in central defence.

Although Bitton is unlikely to go back into the team his versatility could be utilised over the closing weeks of the season.

John Kennedy has had a full week to train with his squad after the disruptions of international commitments in the lead up to the Scottish Cup tie against Falkirk.

James Forrest looks certain to start tomorrow’s match after his scoring return against Falkirk with Callum McGregor and Odsonne Edouard expected to start after being heavily involved in international matches.
