Celtic are reported to have made an offer of 5m euros for Mario Vuscovic.
The claim is made by Italian based reporter Nicolo Schira who has over 120,000 followers on Twitter. In March the same source claimed that Enzo Maresca, the Manchester City u-23 manager, was a candidate to replace Neil Lennon.
Celtic have a well recorded interest in Croatian central defenders, signing Jozo Simunovic in 2015 and bringing in Filip Benkovic on loan three years later.
At the age of 19 Vuscovic has only played 33 league matches for Hadjuk Split which would put him in the unfortunate ‘project’ category. For the season ahead it would seem that tried and tested signings are likely to be a priority.
Leo Hjelde, on loan at Ross County should provide Celtic with a youthful option with Stephen Welsh and Chris Jullien likely to be the only other central defenders with first team experience.
#HajdukSplit have rejected an official bid of €5M from #Celtic for the croatian centre back Mario #Vuskovic (born in 2001). #Torino are also interested in him and #Napoli have asked info last January. #transfers

With a new CEO one week in the job, an Interim Manager and no Head of Football it seems unlikely that Celtic would be putting in £5m offers for players.
Work will be continuing in scouting and recruitment but unless appointments are already in place it will simply be speculation that Celtic have made an offer for Vuscovic.
