Eddie Howe turned up as an EPL pundit today but didn’t go off script to discuss Celtic.

The former Bournemouth boss could enjoy a regular place in the media sharing his thoughts on all sorts of matters but Celtic fans will be hoping that he’ll soon be fronting up their issues on a weekly basis as he returns to the front line.

With networks around the globe covering EPL fixtures Howe shared his views on the Aston Villa v Fulham match and Manchester United against Brighton. Both matches featured comebacks typical of the EPL with Fulham and Brighton scoring first but ending up pointless.

The Easter weekend provides a mini-breather in Celtic’s search for a manager with some suggestions that the Stock Market has to be informed of a new manager. There aren’t any hard and fast rules on that matter although Neil Lennon’s exit was announced firstly to the Stock Market.

With a Scottish Cup tie at Ibrox a fortnight away the pressure will be on Celtic to announce their new manager with most fans expecting the former Bournemouth boss to be in the dug-out when Celtic take their defence of the trophy to Ibrox.
