Almost three weeks after his reported meeting with Dermot Desmond and Dom McKay, Eddie Howe is still in a media studio as the EPL braces itself for managerial movement.
The former Bournemouth boss has been strongly linked with taking charge of Celtic but while McKay has switched job 10 weeks ahead of schedule Howe has yet to give any indication of his next move.
At mid-morning on Monday, the day after a defeat at Ibrox the yellow Sky Sports News ticker lit up with news that Jose Mourinho had been sacked.
After ditching a highly experienced serial winner who looks to be losing his touch Howe would represent a new direction that might fit in better with the traditions of Spurs and aspirations of their supporters.
Tim Sherwood, a former Spurs manager was sitting alongside Howe and explained the profile of the type of manager that his old club will be looking for. It sounded rather similar to the CV of the former EPL manager on duty with him for Canadian broadcaster DAZN.
Give him (new manager) the finances, let him build a football club, let him build a structure, a player identity. I think that’s what he (Daniel Levy) needs to do now, look for a young up and coming manager like Eddie Howe.

“Because Football for me is about dreaming..it’s about having a vision as a supporter as a player & you think could we ever get there..could we ever achieve this”

Brendan Rodgers is also being linked with the Spurs job, if he decides to switch club then the spotlight turns to Leicester City and who they might be looking for a new manager.
