Odsonne Edouard is on a five man list of strikers that AC Milan have drawn up to play alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic next season.
The Frenchman has just over a year left to run on his Celtic contract and seems certain to be sold to help finance a summer rebuild.
Although he has been short of top form this season he did score away to Sparta Prague and AC Milan in the Europa League and has continued his goal-a-game record with the French u-21 side.
Picking up on a story from Corriere dello Sport, Milan News reports:
Even with the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, in the summer Milan will look for another striker on the market: as reported by Corriere dello Sport, the first name on the list is that of Dusan Vlahovic of Fiorentina, on which there are also Roma and some English clubs.
The Serbian would love to play with his idol Ibra, but the problem is the price tag as the Viola ask for more than 40 million euros. Maldini and Massara are also evaluating other tracks for this, such as Belotti of Turin, Edouard of Celtic, Milik of Marseille and Boadu of AZ Alkmaar.
At the end of May and the first week in June, Edouard will be with France at the last eight of the u-21 European Championships with the Olympic games following at the end of July.
Those events are likely to rule him out of being with Celtic at the start of next season which makes a transfer less traumatic to cope with.
Celtic paid Paris Saint Germain £9m for Edouard in June 2019 with the French side believed to have a healthy sell-on fee included in that deal.
