John Kennedy has revealed that Tom Rogic was injured in the warm up at Ibrox on Sunday and unavailable to play even though he was listed as a substitute.

Celtic made three changes with Greg Taylor, Leigh Griffiths and Albian Ajeti thrown on as their last chance of a trophy slipped away.

Rogic played for 72 minutes the previous week against Livingston before being replaced by Ismaila Soro but wasn’t available as Kennedy explained in his Tuesday media conference.

15 minutes

Tom Rogic had an issue the day before the game, in the warm up he was struggling so he couldn’t take part in the game. He has come through training today so he will be available tomorrow which is good news

Being available for tonight’s match against Aberdeen, a club that he has been a regular scorer against which should give Kennedy a boost with an extra attacking option to call on, probably from the bench.

This season the Australian has managed just two goals from 32 appearances which puts his future in question for next season under new management.

Rogic still has two years to run on his Celtic contract but has failed to kick on from the form that he showed between 2016 and 2018.
