Brody Paterson made it into the SPFL Team of the Week for his display on Saturday as Queens Park beat Stirling Albion 1-0.

Luca Connell has attracted most of the attention from Celtic supporters this season but it seems like the 19-year-old defender is also making his mark.

The win over Stirling Albion was just the third League Two match that Paterson has started but he clearly caught the eye and kept his place for last night’s 3-0 win over Cowdenbeath.

Connell was injured during the first half and had to be replaced at the interval but last night’s win made it five out of five for Ray McKinnon’s side since the suspension of the lower leagues was lifted.

With a 10 point lead over Elgin City Queens are strong favourites to win the one automatic promotion place with four matches to go until the split which will see the top five play a further match against each other.
