With an FA Cup Final next month and a Champions League place within reach Brendan Rodgers should have plenty to contend with at Leicester City.
Over two years ago he quit Celtic in mid-season to return to the EPL, making his priorities very clear.
Less than halfway through a four-year contract Rodgers decided to ditch the club that he was apparently born into. One day he was on the training ground at Lennoxtown, the next he was signing a deal at Leicester, slipping out of Scotland overnight with the details of his Leicester contract agreed in double-quick time.
?”That’s very difficult for me to say with my Celtic hat on!”

For reasons best known to himself Rodgers feels the need to discuss the Glasgow Derby every time the fixture comes around. A question might crop up in a general all-in media conference but when he sits down for a one-to-one with Sky Sports the questions are known in advance.
When asked about Steven Gerrard’s side matching the Celtic Invincibles of 2016/17 Rodgers didn’t jump in with the fact that his side won a treble, instead he settled for ‘their probably disappointed that they didn’t do better in the cups’. At Ibrox this season there will be two trophies less on display.
