Leigh Griffiths will lead the line for Celtic in tonight’s Scottish Cup tie at home to Falkirk.

The striker hasn’t started a match since the home defeat by St Mirren on January 30. Since then Albian Ajeti and Patryk Klimala have started games but after Odsonne Edouard played in three u-21 internationals for France in just over a week Griffiths gets his chance to impress with Eddie Howe expected to be named as the Celtic manager this week.

James Forrest starts his first match since getting injured in September with Tom Rogic also in the starting XI with Edouard and Callum McGregor named among the substitutes.

Celtic set off tonight looking to win the Scottish Cup for the fifth year running with memories of the 2020 Cup Final win over Hearts still fresh in the memory.

Apart from Hearts losing at Brora in the Second Round there has been very few upsets this season with Aberdeen, St Johnstone, Dundee United, St Mirren and Livingston booking their place in the last 16 which will be drawn tomorrow followed instantly by the draw for the last eight.

CELTIC: Bain; Kenny, Welsh, Ajer, Laxalt; Forrest, Brown, Rogic, Turnbull, Christie; Griffiths

SUBS: Barkas, Taylor, Duffy, Ajeti, Soro, Edouard, Elyounoussi, McGregor, Ralston
