Ewan Otoo seems to be making a big impact at Clyde with the League One side highlighting his outstanding assist from last night’s 3-0 win over Forfar Athletic.

In just over a fortnight the 18-year-old has made six senior appearances with Danny Lennon’s side climbing the table and progressing in the Scottish Cup with a Fourth Round tie at St Johnstone next weekend.

Playing at left-back Otoo showed great skill to dart between two Forfar players, hit the by-line then cut the ball back to David Goodwill who put Clyde 2-0 up a few minutes from half-time.

Otoo had mainly played as a holding midfielder for Celtic’s youth sides but since going out to Clyde he has found a new position to his liking with a rapid run of fixtures to get upto speed with the demands of the senior game.

Clyde are away at Falkirk tomorrow then Partick Thistle on Tuesday giving the young Celt priceless experience as his career kicks on.
