Steven Gerrard made 12 references to John Kennedy as he told a media conference that ‘the Celtic business is not for me to talk about’.

The Celtic interim boss highlighted the double standards of the SFA in his Thursday media conference to the daily papers with Ibrox Covidiots waiting more than two months for punishment after attending a House Party and getting Fixed Penalties from Police Scotland.

Back in August when Boli Bolingoli didn’t self-isolate after a trip to Spain Celtic had two matches postponed. Eighteen days after news of his trip surfaced Bolingoli was suspended for three matches.

Kennedy fields questions from a variety of traditional sources during his media conferences, at Ibrox a PR official regulates one question from mainly ‘fan sites’ with the order of questions carefully controlled.

Gerrard was gently led in to each question, starting off with two minutes on the evils of Social Media, the club’s stance on the week long boycott while they tweeted from his conference, sympathised with the death of an old man and shared a classic goal from 2018 scored by Joe Dodoo.

As well as 12 references to Kennedy, Celtic, Bolingoli and Dubai were mentioned. According to Gerrard drinking without social distancing went on in Dubai, presumably he has forgotten the events of March 6 and 7 at Ibrox and Murray Park.
