Chris Jullien has added his support to the weekend boycott of Social Media.
From 3pm today clubs across the UK will call a halt to their Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts in protest about the lack of regulation of Social Media.
Various footballers have been subjected to abuse with little obvious concern shown by the big firms that seem happy to accept custom without putting in place any checks.
Today we make a stand.
Let’s make social media a safe and welcoming place for everyone, echoing our core values of kindness, community, respect and togetherness.

Jullien is probably the most prolific Celtic player on Social Media, recently posting regular updates on his rehab from injury.
That sort of subject is perfect for Social Media, allowing players to connect and get information out to people interested enough to follow them.
Celtic itself are far from prolific on Social Media, during difficult times clubs are on a hiding to nothing when results aren’t going well.
This weekend fans looking for news and reaction to the Glasgow Derby will have to go directly to the club website.
