Kemar Roofe has been given a four match UEFA suspension for his brutal attack on Ondrej Kolar.
The Slavia Prague goalkeeper suffered a fractured skull in the sickening clash that resulted in a red card for the former Anderlecht star.
Roofe has yet to apologise for sinking his studs into Kolar’s forehead when it was clear that he was unable to control a long through ball. UEFA don’t allow appeals based on being a starlet with potential to play international football.
The overall discipline of Steven Gerrard’s side has resulted in a fine of 9,000 euros with UEFA still investigating incidents after the match that resulted in Slavia raising a criminal complaint through the Czech Embassy in London.
