Celtic gave their fans the first sign of cheer in 2021 with a convincing 6-0 win over Livingston.
An injury to James Forrest that forced him off after 58 minutes put a dampener on the day but after a slow start the hoops turned on the fireworks to enjoy their best domestic result of the season.

It was Forrest that started the scoring on the half hour mark with a half volley that completely deceived Robbie McCrorie in the Livingston goal.
David Turnbull doubled the lead from close range in the 38th minute with the Hoops 4-0 in front within 10 minutes of the second half thanks to an own goal and a brilliant drive from Moi Elyounoussi.
Forrest’s departure halted Celtic’s tempo for a while but there was still time for another Elyounoussi goal and one from substitute Ryan Christie.
