Celtic fans are likely to get a General Update on the managerial situation according to the club’s Supporters Liaison Officer.
It is now nine weeks since Neil Lennon resigned with only a very non-committal ‘interview’ with Dermot Desmond on March 23 passing for communication with concerned fans.
When Lennon resigned on the back of his second defeat of the season to Ross County very few supporters would have expected to be still in the dark at the start of May.
Thanks Jay, that’s appreciated, I don’t have anything definitive I can share with you at the moment but I do believe there is a recognition that there is a need for a general update in the short term

John Kennedy has been left in charge as Interim Manager, facing up to the media before and after matches as the season continued to disintegrate.
Eddie Howe has been the clear favourite to take over as manager but more than a month since he was reported to have held face-to-face talks with Desmond and Dom McKay there appears to have been little progress towards announcing the appointment.
