Google could be in line to feel the force of the blue pound after daring to tell the truth about the status of the current SPFL title holders.

A simple Google search for ‘champions of Scotland’ confirms that it is a 1st title for the club founded by Charles Green in 2012 with the assistance of the SPL, SFA and the Scottish Football League who provided the newcomers with a place in their Third Division.

Ally McCoist’s side won the title at the first attempt but were pumped out of the League Cup, Scottish Cup and Challenge Cup in the early stages.

After winning League Two the Championship against full-time teams proved too much for McCoist who went on gardening leave midway through the campaign and ahead of a League Cup semi-final against Celtic.

Kenny McDowall took over before Stuart McCall came in leading the side to two glorious defeats in the Play Off against Motherwell.

The following season Mark Warburton led them to promotion and a Challenge Cup Final win over Hibs but the season ended with a Scottish Cup Final defeat from Hibs who lifted the trophy for the first time in 114 years.
