Shay Logan shows no sign of getting over his Celtic obsession.

The journeyman was recently freed by Aberdeen after an seven year stint that saw him pick up just one winners medal- from the 2014 League Cup win over Inverness Caley Thistle.

In season 2016/17 Logan picked up a full set of runners-up medals with that experience appearing to have left deep mental scars.

Stephen Glass opted to free the 33-year-old after he started just two SPFL matches in the season just finished. The writing was on the wall from the moment he was sent out on loan to Hearts where he played five matches in the Second Tier of Scottish football.

While Celtic clearly have their problems trying to find a replacement for Neil Lennon they’re unlikely to be scratching around the lower reaches of the English game for a contact.

With an unhealthy obsession for another football club Logan might discover that finding a new club isn’t quite as straightforward as he imagined.
