Police Scotland are in danger of being over-run in Glasgow today with Steven Gerrard’s squad welcomed to Ibrox by an early morning fireworks display from hundreds of fans.

Yesterday the First Minister announced that Glasgow would remain in Tier 3 for at least another week after a big jump in infection rates in the southside of the city.

Earlier this week Police Scotland and the Scottish Government warned people not to gather in crowds at Ibrox but before 10am this morning it is obvious that that warning has been ignored.

Steven Gerrard issued two half hearted pleas to supporters about complying with the Law but at no stage did he tell fans not to come to Ibrox. It is not known how the Aberdeen team intend arriving at the stadium.

With the video above being shared on Social Media more fans are likely to turn up. Many businesses in the city centre are staying close with a march to George Square being promoted by Ibrox covidiots.
