Humza Yousaf has urged the club from Ibrox to show the door to any player found guilty of ant-Catholic hatred.
The Justice Secretary was speaking after Police Scotland announced that they were investigating video clips that surfaced on Social Media late on Sunday.
Two separate clips show a large group of players and some staff members singing ‘Sweet Caroline’ complete with the add-ons loved by their supporters.
Earlier this month the Ibrox club boycotted Social Media for four days because of racist content aimed at their players, now they may have to discipline first team players on the back of a Police Scotland investigation.
I have also been made aware of this clip, if (and I stress if) this clip is genuine then any player or staff member found to be guilty of anti-Catholic hatred should be shown the door by the Club.
It is right Police Scot investigate & determine the facts around it. https://t.co/wRyI5ZP4Tz

So far there has been no comment from the SFA or the SPFL about the contents of the video.
