Michael Stewart has called out the Conspiracy of Silence over the racism apparent all over Glasgow city centre on Saturday.
Graffiti and vandalism were rife as well as acts of violence among fellow Covidiots as they shared their stupidity to the watching world through Social Media.
Despite a trial run two months ago Police Scotland seemed powerless to prevent the lawlessness with just 28 arrests made while five Police Officers suffered serious injuries.
The silence from certain quarters over the weekend has been extremely telling and the attempts to repaint what happened are equally so too. There’s some serious deep routed issues here in Scotland that are definitely not simply football related.

BBC Scotland gave the carnage only token coverage, focussing on the celebrations despite the illegal march passing by their Glasgow HQ on route from Ibrox to George Square.
When allegations were made against a Slavia Prague player almost every Scottish media outlet turned into anti-racism activists, led of course by the state broadcaster.
UK wide there has been very little mainstream coverage but the tone altered slightly at lunchtime on Sunday when Nicola Sturgeon finally addressed the anti-Catholic prejudice that fuelled the scenes.
Normally the club from Ibrox are quick to issue statements of deflection but no defence has appeared so far. Last night videos emerged of first team players singing Sweet Caroline inside the stadium complete with add-ons that has led to convictions for some of their Season Ticket holders.
It is unlikely that Stewart will feature on BBC Scotland’s Sportsound programme this week.
