Shay Logan has apparently been living ‘rent free’ in the head of 50,000 fans at Celtic Park. It’s not clear what status he has with the other 9,000 that regularly watched him losing to the 9-in-a-row champions.
Being released by Aberdeen after their worst season in a decade seems to have hit the defender hard. This season he started two SPFL matches but did make 10 appearances off the bench before going out on loan to Hearts where he played five matches.
Logan came off second best to Celtic throughout his career, such was the issue that he had that on his stag party in 2019 he dressed up as a Celtic player. There is no known instance of a Celtic player or manager dressing up as Logan for a gag.

After picking up a League Cup winners medal with Aberdeen in 2014 Logan went on to be a solid number two to Celtic during the greatest period of domestic domination that the game has ever known.
In the Invincible season of 2016/17 he went on to be runner-up to Celtic in all three domestic competitions.
He followed that up by losing to Celtic in the final of the 2018 Betfred Cup with Derek McInnes’ side also losing at Hampden to the hoops in the semi-final of the 2019 and 2020 Scottish Cup.
