John Kennedy completed his final pre-match media conference of this season with his usual style and confident delivery.
For more than two months the 37-year-old has been in the media spotlight as the Celtic hierarchy search for a successor to Neil Lennon.
Kennedy has been suggested as a candidate by some but since the start of April almost all of the speculation has been about Eddie Howe coming in as Celtic manager.
A report of face-to-face talks with Dermot Desmond and Dom McKay suggested that an announcement was just days away but that has turned into weeks with less than 24 hours remaining of the current season.
At every media conference Kennedy has been faced with the same question put in a variety of ways, from different angles but all trying to seek out the elusive detail to complete a guessing game that has been running through the majority of this season.

Question: Have you been told that Eddie Howe is coming in as the manager?
John Kennedy: No I haven’t, apart from probably hearing it from you guys. Again there’s a lot of speculation but nobody has spoken to me in terms of what the plans are for next season with the new management set up. I don’t know who they are talking to, I don’t know who the options are. The club are obviously working through that and they’ll confirm it whenever the time is right.
Kennedy will have a final round of media chores tomorrow before taking a back seat with the onus back on the club to make an announcement to the fans.
