While Hendry kept his eye on the ball for a challenge near the halfway line his opponents arrived late and dangerously sunk his studs into Hendry’s lower leg as the ball was cleared.

Carcela was given a red card but the damage to Hendry could keep him out of action for longer than the suspension that the Liege forward will serve.
Last season Hendry suffered a knee injury on loan at Melbourne City but recovered sufficiently to earn a loan move to Oostende which has brought him back into the Scotland international squad.
Hendry has a year left on his Celtic contract but it has been widely reported that Oostende have an option to sign him with a number of English clubs reported to be keen on the defender.
