Anthony Joseph has claimed that Sky Sports are trying to prove the audio in the Sweet Caroline video featuring Steven Gerrard’s first team players.
Last January Sky Sports were quick to broadcast on all of their platforms an interview with Alfredo Morelos in which the translation was clearly doctored to label Celtic fans as racist.
The first video surfaced late on Sunday night and shows numerous other people also making videos of the singsong following Saturday’s SPFL trophy presentation.
Why so aggressive?… We are looking into it. It’s difficult to prove if the audio is real in these circumstances, but we are doing our best to find out.

On Monday afternoon Police Scotland announced that they were investigating the video.
The Ibrox club issued a statement claiming that no criminality occurred. To protect the good name of their players all that is required is to publish the original video allowing Police Scotland to decide on the add-ons.
