Celtic have launched a video about their Scotland players at the European Championships- without Jack Hendry.

James Forrest, David Turnbull, Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie and Greg Taylor all share their thoughts and expectations for the tournament which opens for Scotland at home to the Czech Republic tomorrow.

Missing from the coverage is Hendry. The defender spent the season just ended on loan at Oostende but there has been no confirmation from either club about a permanent transfer to Belgium.

On the UEFA website Hendry is listed as a Celtic player.

There has been reports that Oostende had an option to buy Hendry for a fee in the region of £1.75m but there has been a strange lack of comment from the two clubs involved.

Hendry joined Celtic in January 2018 from Dundee on a four a half year contract but the move to Glasgow never really got off the ground with Kris Ajer, Filip Benkovic and Chris Jullien brought in to play in central defence.

When Jozo Simunovic was released last summer Celtic brought in Shane Duffy on loan with Hendry moving to Oostende with little fanfare.
