Tom Allison was the subject of today’s Green Brigade banner as the number of days without a manager reaches 105.

Allison has been a non-executive director since 2001 with very little known about his role on the board.

He has outlasted his former Clydeport colleague Peter Lawwell who is believed to have left the club ahead of his official departure at the end of June.

Allison has watched Celtic decline as a force in European football over the last decade while being a member of the Remuneration Committee which allowed Lawwell’s salary to snowball to £3.5m for the year to 2019.

It is now more than a fortnight since Celtic launched their campaign to renew Season Tickets, with Eddie Howe turning down the opportunity to replace Neil Lennon attention has turned to Ange Postecoglou but it seems to be business as usual for the manager of Yokohama Marinos.
