Dermot Desmond was remined of his role in Celtic’s 101 day failure to find a new manager to succeed Neil Lennon.
The Irish businessman makes fleeting visits to Celtic Park, despite being the biggest individual shareholder he hasn’t attended an AGM for over a decade.

Back on March 23 Desmond provided a very vague interview to the Celtic website without giving away any real information or detail about the search for a new manager.
It seems that the whole focus was on Eddie Howe with Ange Postecoglou Plan B after the former Bournemouth boss turned down Celtic’s approach.
Whether Desmond will be on hand to welcome the Australian into the #celticfamily remains to be seen but from the Green Brigade banners it seems that the Irishman and Peter Lawwell are being held responsible for the on-going shambles at Celtic.
