Celtic are reported to have offered €3,5M to Bologna for Aaron Hickey.
The claim comes from Italian based reporter Nicolo Schira who must get a lot of decent stories to have attracted 118,000 followers on Twitter.
If the claim is correct it marks a very nice profit for the Italian side who paid Hearts around £1m for the defender last September. Ironically Celtic were reported to have got a 30% cut of that transfer fee.

The teenager played 763 minutes in Serie A last season over 11 appearances according to Soccerway. Hickey has been constantly linked with Celtic since making his Heats debut in May 2019- less than a year after leaving Celtic’s Academy.
Craig Levein claimed that Celtic made five or six attempts to sign Hickey during the 2019/20 season which ended with Hearts being relegated.
Although he made his breakthrough at left-back Hickey can play in either full-back position, a move to play right-back at Celtic may appeal to improve his international prospects with Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson closing the door on any aspiring left-backs.
